Content Creation:
I stream on Twitch and dabble in Youtube and TikTok. I started streaming in December of 2022, taking inspiration from streamers I respect. With a healthy dose of support from them I quickly hit affiliate. I was stoked because that meant I could have emotes! Early 2023 I started uploading to my Youtube channel, starting off with shorts to practice my editing skills and to attempt building into more time-consuming longform videos.
Being a lazy bastard, I found a lot of ways to make elements of my streaming automated. Since that happened I've helped several new streamers I knew get set up and even assisted a couple experienced streamers improve their setups. Yeah, I'm the weirdo that researches these things for fun...

Music:
At the risk of dating myself...I started taking guitar lessons in 1999, continuing to do so until 2013. Most of that time was receiving classical training, but I also dabbled in Irish folk, Bluegrass, and Metal! I got to have a couple years of piano lessons and even a year of vocal coaching as well. I spent three years playing as part of church bands, so performing in front of a crowd and public speaking don't scare me like they used to.

Military Service:
From 2013 to 2018 I was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, sometimes called Uncle Sam's Misguided Children! Poor me, I was stationed in Hawai'i and deployed twice to Okinawa, Japan. Over the two deployments I ended up visiting South Korea, Australia, and Guam. Due to the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) I was in I ended up with a five year contract, during those five years I learned a lot about technology and much about leadership. I did not reenlist because I didn't think my body would survive another enlistment, opting instead to be Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant.
